Return & Warranty Policy

At Doctor Diesel, we want to make returns as straightforward as possible while protecting the integrity of the parts we sell.

Returns

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

• The return must be requested within 30 days of the delivery date.

• New items must be unused, in resalable condition, and returned in their original packaging.

• The part must not have been installed, modified, damaged, or altered.

• The item must not fall within one of our non-returnable categories.

• Used parts are covered by this return policy unless the individual product listing specifically states that the item is final sale or non-returnable.

Installed or modified parts cannot be returned.

Used Parts

Used parts may be returned within the standard 30-day return period unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

Because used parts may show normal cosmetic wear, return eligibility will be based on the condition in which the item was originally sold. Used parts must be returned in substantially the same condition as received and must not have been installed, modified, damaged, or altered after delivery.

Items specifically marked Final Sale, As-Is, or Non-Returnable are not eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products cannot be returned due to their nature, installation requirements, or manufacturer restrictions. These may include:

• Electrical and electronic components

• Control modules

• Sensors

• Gaskets, seals, and sealing components

• Diagnostic tools and equipment

• Special-order or custom-order parts

• Opened products that cannot reasonably be resold

• Items specifically marked as final sale or non-returnable

Doctor Diesel reserves the right to determine return eligibility based on the condition and type of product.

How to Request a Return

All returns must be approved by Doctor Diesel before being shipped back.

1. Contact Doctor Diesel with your order number and the reason for the return.

2. If the return is approved, you will receive return instructions.

3. Package the item securely and follow the provided shipping instructions.

4. Once the item is received, it will be inspected before a refund is issued.

Do not send products back without prior return authorization.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is the result of an error by Doctor Diesel or an item arrived damaged or defective, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise approved by Doctor Diesel.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service when returning an item. Doctor Diesel is not responsible for return shipments that are lost or damaged in transit.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

The restocking fee will be deducted from the approved refund amount. The fee may apply to both new and used parts unless otherwise stated in the product listing or waived by Doctor Diesel.

Restocking fees may be waived when the return is the result of an error by Doctor Diesel or when an item is confirmed to have arrived damaged or defective.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refunds will be issued after the returned item has been received and inspected. Any applicable 20% restocking fee will be deducted before the refund is issued.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.

Items returned in a condition that does not meet the requirements of this policy may be denied a refund.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, contact Doctor Diesel as soon as possible after delivery.

Please provide your order number and, when applicable, photographs showing the product, packaging, or damage.

We will review the issue and determine the appropriate replacement, return, or refund.

Warranty Policy

Many products sold by Doctor Diesel are covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty coverage, duration, limitations, and claim requirements vary by manufacturer and product. All manufacturer warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer's terms and final approval.

A manufacturer may require the defective part to be returned for inspection before approving a warranty claim.

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover damage caused by:

• Improper installation

• Incorrect application or fitment

• Abuse or misuse

• Neglect

• Accidents or impact damage

• Improper storage or handling

• Modification or alteration

• Overloading

• Failure to follow manufacturer installation or operating instructions

• Normal wear and tear unless specifically covered by the manufacturer

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the sale of a product by Doctor Diesel does not create an additional warranty beyond the warranty provided by the product's manufacturer.

Labor and Other Costs

Unless expressly covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty or agreed to in writing by Doctor Diesel, warranty coverage does not include:

• Labor charges

• Towing expenses

• Roadside service charges

• Vehicle downtime

• Lost revenue

• Freight or transportation expenses

• Diagnostic charges

• Damage to other components

Warranty approval for a replacement part does not automatically authorize reimbursement for labor or other related expenses.
